I was born in the early seventies – which means as far as music goes, I’m a child of the eighties – hopelessly addicted to the synthesized, hair band era. Today, though, I have settled in to a new job, and am in the home stretch of achieving a Master’s degree. I’ve spent the past 15 years or so working in technology – sometimes as a project manager, sometimes as a programmer, sometimes as a product manager, and often as a manager of other technology folks. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area – the East Bay, to be a bit more precise – but, I began life as a corn-fed kid growing up in the Midwest. I lived mostly in Wisconsin, sometimes in Illinois, a little bit in Ohio, and I landed in San Francisco in 1995. I like it here and think I’ll stay.
I have a couple hobbies – some of them probably shouldn’t be counted as hobbies, so much as they should be counted as different ways to be lazy.
– I like to watch football (I grew up in Wisconsin, remember? There’s not a lot to do there other than watch the Packers).
– I like to watch TV (mostly crime shows).
– I like to eat and drink with my friends.
– I like to cook (if I have the energy).
– I like to read.
– I like genealogy.
– I like to write.
– I like to play pool (on the rare occasion I have the ambition to leave the house).
As I while away my time, I’m writing and waiting to see where my life goes next.
Hello fellow campaigner! As a member of the nonfiction group (otherwise known as #53), I wanted you to know I will be featuring you on my blog during the campaign period. Every Friday from 9/23 through 10/28, I will feature several of the writers from our group. This will include a link to your site (the same link you used when joining the campaign) as well as an excerpt from your About Me page. Be sure to check my blog to see when you are featured. I will be going through the list in order.
You can visit my blog at http://thewriterrevived.com
I look forward to getting to know you and your work, and helping others get to know you as well!
Happy Campaigning!

Thanks, Elizabeth!
I’ve given you two blog awards. http://tbnranch.wordpress.com/
Wow! Thanks so much! I’ll start working on passing the awards on and coming up with random facts about myself.
Thank you so much for the Stylish Blogger Award. I have written a post about it and included a link to your blog. I hope more readers come your way because your blog is great!

Your interview’s up on my blog today! http://jc-martin.com/fighterwriter/
Hey there! Spreading some good karma today – I nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger award!
Thanks so much, Graham! I loved your post, am very humbled by your kind words, and am absolutely flabbergasted that you have not seen Sports Night!
You’ve been awfully quiet, EBW…
I shouldn’t throw stones – I didn’t post anything all summer – but just wanted you to know you’ve been on my mind. Standing by for your next words, whenever they appear. Hope all’s good for you.
You have such amazing timing, Tele! I was at a party at a friend’s house last night talking to a woman who is about to self-publish a book. I spent quite some time encouraging her to start writing online, telling her just how wonderful and supportive the writing community is, and how glad I am to have met people like you by taking part, however sporadic my contributions have been this past year. Thanks for dropping by to say hello, and all I can tell you is that I’m standing by for my next words, too. 🙂
